Announcements and Introductions to be Made in L.A.
More than 30 world or North American premieres will help to enhance this year's January LA Auto Show, January 2005. This is the last year the show will run in January as it moves to a November time slot next year.
Finalizing their introduction plans, automakers are gearing up to showcase new vehicles and concept cars. Among the new introductions this year is Volkswagen's 2007 Eos, an entirely new two-door, five passenger hardtop convertible. Also making its North American debut will be the sporty 2006 VW GTI.
Toyota will conduct its world premiere of the new 2007 Yaris subcompact car while Mazda will showcase "design, technology, style and versatility", introducing its all-new Mazda CX-7 crossover.
General Motors will unveil several production vehicles at this year's LA show, including seven vehicles, six of which are World debuts. Audi reveals its first-ever SUV, the Q7; Porsche sports its powerful Cayman S, and Lamborghini the Gallardo Spyder. Mercedes-Benz introduces its all-new S-class, and Bugatti Veyron, the most expensive and fastest car to receive a North American introduction, with 987 horsepower and a price tag of a wowing $1.2 million!
