One would have to be hiding in a cave not to be aware of the state of the economy in terms of automobile sales. Opening Media Days at the Chicago Auto Show was the MAMA breakfast with special guest speaker John Krafcik, president and CEO of Hyundai Motors North America. Krafcik debunked the rumor that "auto shows as we know them are dead," assuring the media that auto shows aren't going anywhere, and as it's always been, they exist to sell cars; to entice the public to head to a local dealer and hopefully, purchase a vehicle.
