Volvo recalls several models for faulty airbags…again. Recall includes 2001-2007 Volvo V70, 2001-2009 S60, 2001-2006 S80 for airbag inflator propellant. Tablets can dry out and decay if subjected to high moisture levels, high temperatures. Volvo will replace airbags free, the notice will go out to owners November 29, 2021. Owners can go to the recall website or contact Volvo Cars Customer Service; 800-458-1552. The older Volvo sedans and wagons (S60, S80, V70, XC70) vehicles are subjected to the same risks as the Takata Airbags. The recall will include 194,546 Volvo vehicles, a growing airbag recall, and 259,383 older sedans at risk of exploding airbags. (Car Connection October 26, 2021)
